Do’s of Internet at workplace




·       Use different passwords on different sites: -

Nowadays, if we want to get everything online we need to create account first. Thus, for every account do try to keep different username and password as well. Generally, we do use very common passwords as name of loved one or memorable dates.


·       Do provide training about the best and most effective utilization of internet:-

Training employees regarding correct usage of internet at workplace will be the best option for everyone in the company to go ahead I the competition. They must be made understood that they have access to internet for the benefit of company and to do their jobs better not for personal distractions.



·       Do give rules of what is considered as satisfactory or unsatisfactory: -

Make the employees understand about the boundaries regarding usage of internet in the office.

Set up some written policy, agreement for them to strictly understand the correct usage of internet. This can help to maintain dignity in the working environment.


·       Do instruct your employees to share important information at secure sites: -

Nowadays, sites are being getting hacked very frequently, before posting any important data do make sure you are using the correct and secure sites so that you don’t get cheated by the criminals.


·       Use internet for personal use in the unpaid lunch break only: -

This is the correct time to use internet for personal use when you are free from company work. In lunch break you are free to do whatever you want to do to relax yourself. (Kaur, 2016)
